How we research comparisons, and what our promises mean.
Every price and feature in our tables is read from the provider's own published pages — pricing pages, charges documents, or official help centres. We never copy figures from other comparison sites, and we never guess.
Each table cell carries a source link and the date we checked it. The sources list at the foot of every comparison page shows exactly where each figure came from.
Short-term promotions, cashback offers and referral bonuses are excluded because they change too often to compare fairly. Where a fact was not stated on the page we checked, the table says so instead of guessing.
Verdicts reflect our judgement based on the sourced figures in the table. They are not financial advice, and they never override the provider's own terms.
Providers change prices. If you spot a figure that no longer matches the linked source, email timms@mathies.co.uk and we will re-check it.
